Purposes
No information is collected or used for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy unless prior consent is obtained. Data collected at www.draaimolen.nu is only used within the Draaimolen organization and if mandatory shared anonymously with funding providers*.
* We process personal data (postcode and house number) together with Rotterdam Festivals in order to generate statistical data (e.g. segmentation based on the Cultural Target Group Model) and to collect information about our audience. The results of the various surveys cannot be traced back to natural persons. We use the anonymous data for reporting to our funders and to inform our programming and marketing policies. We use the information we can obtain through our website to understand our (potential) visitors so that we can tailor our services accordingly. Tickets and personalisation
For the purchase of e-tickets, you will be asked for “additional information”. No distinction is made between the buyer and the companion (other person for whom tickets are purchased). Some data is requested for the buyer, such as first name, last name, (e-mail) address, etc. The same data is recorded for companions’ ticket(s) as that of the purchaser.
The name and address data collected are used for research, countering black trading and for promotional purposes (e.g. providing information for upcoming editions).
Communication
Personal data (such as e-mail addresses) may be used to keep you informed about promotional campaigns, etc. You can always unsubscribe from such mailings by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email.
Retention period of personal data
Your personal data will be kept as long as necessary to process your order and for 3 years after the transaction, unless a different retention period is required by law.
Withdrawing permission
You have the option to terminate the use of your data for marketing purposes etc. at any time. You can do this by unsubscribing at the bottom of each e-mail. If you want to delete cookies, this is possible in your browser settings.
